    A Centuries-Old Story

    The emerald-cut moissanite engagement ring displays one of the oldest diamond cuts in the world. In the 16th century, stonecutters originally used the emerald faceting pattern on green emeralds; this cut reduced the amount of pressure on the softer, more brittle emeralds and allowed them to be successfully cut without breaking. Eventually, diamond cutters began experimenting with the stunning emerald cut and adopted the style.

    Reminiscent of the 1920s art deco movement, the emerald-cut lab diamond engagement ring features geometric shapes, parallel lines, and symmetry.
