The only thing sweeter than the symbolism of this stunning sapphire engagement ring is the way it looks on your finger. Two complementary but contrasting gems come together in one sapphire and diamond ring to represent the idea of “you and me” – two souls coming together in love and unity. A brilliant pear-cut lab-grown diamond dances close to an oval created sapphire, with the band curving elegantly to hold them. The open design emphasizes both the closeness of the two gems and their unique, separate silhouettes. While the Toi et Moi Ring might seem like a modern trend, it’s actually an engagement ring style that has been admired and worn for centuries.

2ct pear lab-grown diamond

10x8mm (2.5ct equivalent) oval sage green created sapphire

*Diamond is DEF color, VS1 clarity or better, and comes with a grading report from GIA, IGI, or GCAL. Each center diamond is also laser-inscribed with a serial number that matches the grading report.

While we highly recommend getting the correct ring size before ordering, we do offer a complimentary sizing if the ring needs to be adjusted after you order. Just let us know, and we'll send you a repair slip and shipping instructions to get the ring back to us. We'll resize it for free--you just pay shipping. However, due to the nature of resizing and the stress it can put on a ring, certain rings may need to be remade instead of resized. This usually happens when the size is more than a full size off or with very detailed designs. In these instances, we will charge you our cost to remake the ring. If you have questions about whether your design is easily resized, just ask!

We can also ship you a metal ring sizer (which is much more reliable than paper or plastic sizers) and you can measure your finger in the comfort of your own home.

This emerald and pear ring is part of a long tradition of similar rings. The Toi et Moi style dates back to the eighteenth century when Napoleon proposed to Josephine, but even that might have a hard time competing with the moment the Toi et Moi is having now. With the irresistible symbolism of two gems representing “you and me,” the Toi et Moi ring has captured the heart of many contemporary couples. Mine-Free Diamonds and Gems

We love crafting this emerald and pear ring using mine-free diamonds and gemstones. For the most classic combination, you can select lab-grown diamonds and enjoy the luxury of 100% real, 100% carbon diamonds. Lab-created diamonds have all the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as mined diamonds, but without the devastating effects and unnecessary costs of mining.

This emerald and pear diamond ring can also be adapted with colorless moissanite, achieving a similar look to a diamond, but at a lower price point. For an even more personalized version, customize this ring with a colored gemstone or two. Sapphires, emeralds, rubies, alexandrites, and other gemstones can all be created above ground, giving plenty of mine-free options for playing with color!
